The Young People and Violent Crime Strategic Action Plan 2008 - 2013 is a five-year strategy designed to reduce youth gang activity and violent crime in the borough.
Our partners are already carrying out a lot of work that deals with issues that are related to this plan, such as tackling teenage pregnancy and raising attainment in schools. However the Young and Safe Action Plan is not to be a list of all the projects and activities that are being carried out by the partnership, but is rather a strategy to bring us together and focus directly on addressing the problems of young people’s involvement in gangs and serious crime.
You can view a copy of the Young and Safe Action plan here.
