Our Year, the Lambeth First Annual Review for 2009-10 sets out what we have achieved in the past year, and we have some great stories to tell.

Thank you to all our partners and supporters who have worked so hard to make these improvements possible. Our achievements in 2009-10 include:

125 local businesses received vital financial advice from the Lambeth Business Desk
320 people at risk of long term unemployment secured new jobs through the Future Jobs Fund
We have continued to reduce the numbers of young people not in education, employment or training
We have reduced the number of black and minority ethnic first time entrants to the youth justice system
We have reduced the number of smokers in the borough
We have generated nearly £10million for over 4000 older and disabled people who were under claiming benefits
We have increased the number of vulnerable people moving on from temporary to permanent accommodation

We have ambitious plans for the future and we are making good progress, but we know that Lambeth continues to face many challenges and it is only by working together that we can overcome them.
