Employment sub-group

This group aims to make Valuing Employment happen in Lambeth. The group believes that there should be more employment opportunities than there are now. And people should have more opportunities to improve their skills.

The employment sub-group is made up of officers from Lambeth Council, the Camden Society, Lambeth College, Orchard Hill College and Mencap Pathways. Service users and carers are also involved in the work of this group. 

The employment sub-group keeps track of how many people with learning disabilities are in work, voluntary work, or education. This helps them know what type of employment help is working in Lambeth. 

The sub-group helps organisations work together so that people with learning disabilities can have more opportunities to get into work.
