Carers involvement in the partnership board

There are 5 carer representatives on the partnership board. They represent the interests of carers of people with learning disabilities in Lambeth.

The partnership board has a carer development worker who helps carers of people with learning disabilities to be involved in the partnership board. He helps carers' to speak up and gets the issues that are important to them on the agenda. 

 Robert Hill Robert Hill is our interim carer development worker. He also supports carers outside of the partnership board. He gives advice, advocacy or signposts carers to other useful services. 

4 people sat around a meeting table talkingStephen runs a carers' forum who meet about 6 times a year. The forum meetings are a place where carers of people with learning disabilities can get together and talk about what is going on in their lives. There are also presentations about things that concern carers'.
