The 2011 Lambeth Business Awards will be launched on 13 December at the Brixton Ritzy, between 8am and 10am. Not only will you be able to find out more about this year's awards, but there will be refreshments and a short film too.
Funded by Lambeth First in partnership with Lambeth Council, the awards are free for businesses to enter and winners receive a cash prize as well as priceless free publicity. Local residents and visitors are also welcome to come along and nominate their favourite Lambeth businesses.
Last years Business of the Year winner was London Duck Tours. John Bigos, managing director, commented on picking up the award: 'I think it's a magnificent award and we've worked hard over the last six to seven years, and to get people to vote for us is just fantastic'.
On top of that, there will be a routemaster bus stopped on Windrush Square on Monday 13 December and the Routemaster Roadshow will be roaming the borough throughout the rest of the week. Hop on to find out more about the awards and to register or nominate a business!
Locations for the Routemaster Roadshow:
Monday: Windrush Square, Brixton
Tuesday: St Luke's Church, Knight's Hill, West Norwood
Wednesday: Streatham Green, Streatham High Road, Streatham
Thursday: outside Trinity Close, The Pavement, Clapham Common
