Local Area Agreement (LAA)

Our Local Area Agreement promotes our vision of a socially inclusive Lambeth, where effective community engagement drives the local partnership to deliver real outcomes that make a difference.

It covers local services which together amount to £258 million in funds in statutory and other grant funded programmes. £10 million of LAA funds are ‘pooled’. Pooling funding streams is part of the government’s promise to give local bodies more say over how funding from central government is spent. The LAA strategy, outcomes and targets have been agreed by the Lambeth First partnership.
