Lambeth First Enterprise Board

Who are we

The Lambeth First Enterprise Board, appointed through an open recruitment process, is a business-led board that champions Lambeth's vision for enterprise. It acts as the key mechanism for partnership between the public and private (including social enterprise) sectors in the borough.

The board revised its membership in March this year to take on a much greater business focus. The board’s new members come from a variety of local businesses including restaurants, an IT consultancy, an events and marketing agency and creative and design consultancies.

A key priority for the new board will be to consider the effects of the economic downturn and to help businesses survive the recession and when the economy recovers, take advantage of new and emerging opportunities.

Board members intend to take forward a number of projects to boost existing businesses and encourage opportunities for new entrepreneurs.  Key schemes the board have committed to over the coming months include:

  • The creation of a loan fund and related business planning support
