When you think of a festival, great music, food and (hopefully) sunshine are more likely to spring to mind than careers advice or CV writing, but the Lambeth Country Show will offer job hunters the best of both worlds when it opens on Saturday 17 July at Brockwell Park.
The Lambeth Working and Adult Learning marquee will focus on free confidential advice to help you land that dream job—and give you a chance to try out some learning taster sessions at the same time.
Supported by the Green Man Skills Zone, Jobcentre Plus, Lambeth Business Desk and Lambeth Adult Learning, a host of information and fun activities are available.
Advisers will be on hand to help with CV writing, running your own business, and managing your money. Visitors will also be able to relax by trying out Tai-Chi, Yoga or painting at special learning taster sessions, and games and prizes are also on offer.
To find the Lambeth Working marquee, head to the Herne Hill gate of Brockwell Park and it will be on the left hand side of the main path up the hill - or consult the Show programme for directions.
