Community Safety Ward Reviews

Community Safety Ward Reviews are a prototype product which aims to advise residents of the work the Safer Lambeth Partnership is delivering across the borough to reduce crime and increase community confidence. The Reviews set out at a local level how we are tackling our strategic priorities of:

· Reducing serious violent crime

· Reducing the harm caused by drugs and alcohol

· Reducing youth offending

· Supporting communities and reassuring the public

· Supporting safer neighbourhoods

Our approach is based on intelligence, Safer Neighbourhoods priorities and reported crime.

Ward priorities evolve as local issues are resolved and focus shifts to new or emerging concerns. It should be noted that the Ward Reviews capture a snapshot in time of work at a particular point in summer 2009, and that information, priorities and areas of work will have advanced accordingly.
